Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Tottenham Hotspur will win against Burnley this weekend.

Tottenham will take on Burnley away from home at Turf Moor in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Owen believes that Spurs will pick up all three points from the encounter.

“Despite Burnley’s outstanding home form so far this season, they are without a win in seven in all competitions and lost 1-0 to Non-League Lincoln City in their last home game,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

“Spurs will be without Harry Kane but they will be targeting maximum points from their trip to Turf Moor and I think they will pick up all three.”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation; Spurs to win to nil at 17/10.”

Tottenham are going strong in the Premier League at the moment and could end up second behind Chelsea.

Spurs will head into the match against Burnley on the back of a 2-1 victory over Southampton at White Hart Lane in the league.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side should be able to pick up all three points against the Clarets.

Burnley are unlikely to get relegated to the Championship at the moment, and they will probably be happy with just a point against Spurs.

Sean Dyche’s side will head into the match against Tottenham on the back of a goalless draw with relegation candidates Sunderland away from home at the Stadium of Light in the league.
