Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Bayern Munich will win against Celtic this week.

Celtic will take on Bayern away from home at the Allianz Arena in the Champions League Group B on Wednesday evening.

Owen has backed the German giants to pick up all three points from the encounter without conceding a single goal.

Celtic Manager Brendan Rodgers celebrates during the William Hill Scottish Cup Final between Celtic and Aberdeen at Hampden Park on May 27, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

“BetVictor are top price 10/11 for Bayern Munich to beat Celtic without conceding in the German capital and I expect them to beat Brendan Rodgers’ side without conceding,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in the world and have one of the strongest teams in Europe. The Bavarian giants are one of the favourites for the Champions League this season.

It is hard to see Jupp Heynckes’s side lose to Celtic on Wednesday evening, although one should not be surprised if Brendan Rodgers’s do score at the Allianz Arena.

Celtic have some very good players going forward, and they could breach the Bayer citadel at some point.

However, Bayern should be able to pick up three points from the Champions League match with relative ease.
