The Red Devils will take on Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Sunday afternoon.
Former United striker Michael Owen has backed Jose Mourinho’s side to pick up all three points from the encounter.
“Wenger has never got the better of Mourinho in the PL with his only success coming in the 2015 Community Shield,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com. “I expect United to grind out a result.”
A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Manchester United double chance (either draw or win) at 4/5.”
Arsenal will head into the match against United on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur away from home at White Hart Lane in the North London derby.
Arsene Wenger’s side are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 60 points from 33 matches, six points behind fourth-placed Manchester City, who have played a game more.
Meanwhile, United currently find themselves fifth in the standings with 65 points from 34 games.
The Red Devils are very much in the running for the Champions League places, but Jose Mourinho’s side will have to be on top of their game between now and the end of the season.
United will head into the match against Arsenal on the back of a 1-1 draw with relegation candidates Swansea City at Old Trafford in the league.
