Tottenham Hotspur maintained their chances of winning the Premier League title this season with a 3-1 comeback victory over Swansea City away from home at the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The win means that Spurs remain seven points behind leaders and London rivals Chelsea in second place.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Watford at home in the Premier League.

Tottenham will head into the match at White Hart Lane with confidence, and former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen believes that they will win.

Owen, though, does not think that Arsenal will find it easy in their next match. The Gunners will take on London rivals Crystal Palace away from home at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Monday evening.

Arsene Wenger’s side will head into the game on the back of a 3-0 victory over West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium in another London derby.

“Watford have never beaten Spurs in the Premier League and I don’t expect them to buck that trend in the early kick off on Saturday,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

“Deli Alli scored twice in the reverse fixture at Vicarage Road in January and he has been outstanding in recent weeks and it was no surprise to see hi change the game at the Liberty Stadium midweek.

“Spurs are unbeaten at White Hart Lane this term. Chelsea in 2013/14 were the last of 13 previous teams to have gone a whole Premier League season unbeaten at home – I don’t expect the Hornets to break Spurs’ proud home record.”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Spurs -1 at 8/11.”

“Palace have a wretched record against the Gunners having won only one of their previous 15 games in the Premier League,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

“Arsenal have scored over 100 goals in all competitions so far this season but the Eagles have improved in recent weeks and Selhurst Park under lights can be a daunting place to play.”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Crystal Palace draw no bet at 11/5.”
