Watford and Everton will face each other in the Premier League this weekend.

Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that both Watford and Everton will score this afternoon.

Watford and Everton will face each other at Vicarage Road in the Premier League in a few hours’ time.

“You have to go back to 1987 for the last time Watford beat Everton in any competition but, with the Blues having picked up just one point from their last fifteen on the road, the Hornets won’t have many better opportunities to buck that trend,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

“That said this is a hard game to call although I expect to see goals at Vicarage Road with the hosts having kept only one clean sheet from their last 12 home PL games, but having found the back of the net in ten of those dozen games.”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Both Teams To Score at 8/11.”

Watford will head into the match against Everton on the back of a 3-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion away from home at The Hawthorns in the Premier League.

The Hornets are 11th in the league table at the moment with 18 points from 14 matches.

Walter Mazzarri’s side are doing quite well at the moment, although they have lost their last two Premier League matches.

Meanwhile, Everton currently find themselves eighth in the standings with 20 points from 14 matches.

The Toffees will head into this afternoon’s game against Watford on the back of a 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Goodison Park.

Ronald Koeman’s side last won a competitive game of football back on October 30 when they got the better of West Ham United 2-0 at home in the Premier League.
