Alfredo Morelos is playing well for Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers.
Alfredo Morelos of Rangers
The former Liverpool and Manchester United striker – who played with former Gers manager Steven Gerrard at Anfield – has been impressed with the Rangers star, who has been in brilliant form this season.
According to WhoScored, Morelos has scored nine goals in the Scottish Premiership and eight goals in the Europa League (including qualifiers) so far this season.
The Scottish Sun quotes Owen as saying about Morelos: “A lot of people will be interested. He’s that type, isn’t he?
“He’s the modern centre-forward, a strong lad that can almost do every job. He can score goals, hold the ball up and run the channels. He’s going to tempt a lot of people.”

Rangers stay
Morelos has been superb for Rangers for a while now, and one suspects that the Gers will get offers from other clubs in the January transfer window.
However, Rangers simply cannot afford to sell the striker if they are to win the Scottish Premiership title this season.
This campaign Celtic are facing real competition from the Gers, and part of that is because of the form that Morelos is in.
Moreover, It is going to be extremely hard for Rangers to find a suitable replacement for Morelos in the January transfer window.
