Michael Owen has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to relegation-threatened Leeds United losing to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium and Everton winning against Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
Jesse Marsch’s Leeds suffered a 2-1 defeat to Arsenal away from home in North London in the Premier League today.
Meanwhile, Everton got the better of Leicester 2-1 away from home at the King Power Stadium in the league.
Everton are now 16th in the Premier League table with 35 points from 34 matches.
Burnley are 17th with 34 points from 35 matches, level on points with Leeds, who are third from bottom.
Former Liverpool striker Owen believes that Everton winning today is a huge result for Frank Lampard’s side, and thinks that Leeds are now the “most vulnerable” side in the race to avoid the drop.
