Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic will face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League this week.

Celtic will return to action on Wednesday evening when they take on Paris Saint-Germain away from home at Parc des Princes in the Champions League.
Brendan Rodgers’s side will head into the Group B game in Paris on the back of a 1-0 victory over Ross County away from home in the Scottish Premiership.
The Glasgow giants are in great form in domestic football at the moment, but it is going to be very hard for them to do much against PSG.

Celtic are third in Champions League Group B at the moment with just three points from four matches, while PSG are at the top of the group with 12 points from four games.
The Hoops have no chance whatsoever of going through to the knockout stages of the Champions League this season, but they can still drop to the Europa League.
Meanwhile, PSG have already booked their place in the last-16 stage of Europe’s premier club competition.

Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen does not expect Unai Emery’s side to lose to Celtic in Paris on Wednesday evening, and has predicted PSG striker Edinson Cavani to score first.
“Celtic are yet to score a goal in three previous fixtures against PSG and lost the reverse fixture 5-0 at Celtic Park back in September,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.
“The hosts are yet to concede in the Champions League this term and it is hard to make a case for the Hoops against the French champions who are the current favourites to lift the Trophy next spring.”
A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Edinson Cavani to score first at 19/10.”
