Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Son Heung-min will score for Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

Tottenham will face Manchester City at home in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Son has been in good form so far this season and has been scoring goals for fun.

The 24-year-old South Korea international, who can play as a winger or as a forward, has scored four goals and created 10 chances in three Premier League appearances for Spurs so far this campaign.

The former Hamburger SV attacker, who joined Tottenham from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail at the time to be worth £21.9 million, has scored one goal and created four chances in two Champions League matches for the North London outfit.

Owen has predicted Son to find the net for Tottenham against City at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon.

The former Newcastle United striker has also expressed his admiration for Georges-Kevin N’Koudou.

N’Koudou, who is 21 years of age and plays as a winger, joined Tottenham from French club Lyon in the summer transfer window.

“The top two at the start of the weekend lock horns at White Hart Lane with Kevin de Bruyne and Harry Kane significant absentees,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

“Son Heung-Min has been in cracking form for Spurs of late and it would not surprise me if Mauricio Pochettino started with Son down the middle given he looked a real threat when switched to a more central position late on in Moscow.

“Do also make a note of Georges-Kevin Nkoudou who also took the eye when coming on in Russia for a late cameo.”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Son Heung-Min to score during the 90 minutes at 21/10.”

Tottenham are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 14 points from six matches, four points behind leaders City.
