Ibrox outfit Glasgow Rangers are looking for a new manager following Pedro Caixinha’s exit from the Gers.

Rangers are looking for a new permanent manager following the departure of Pedro Caixinha as the Ibrox club’s boss this week.
The Portuguese was relieved of his duties at the Gers after just seven months in charge due to poor results and performances.
According to The Daily Record, O’Neill, who is in charge of Northern Ireland at the moment, has been linked with the vacant managerial job at Rangers.
The 48-year-old former Newcastle United and Hibernian midfielder is 28/1 for the Rangers managerial job, according to odds on Sky Bet.
O’Neill has responded to speculation linking him with the Rangers managerial job.

“It’s not a distraction for me at all,” The Daily Record quotes O’Neill as saying about speculation linking him with the Rangers managerial job.
“It’s (speculation) constantly been there but it’s not something that I pay much attention to. My attention is here and trying to get my country to a World Cup finals.
“What may or may not happen after that is in the laps of the football gods to be honest.
“It’s always nice to be linked with jobs but it’s not something I have given much thought to at all.”

Rangers are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and managing the Gers must be tempting for any manager.
However, O’Neill is on the verge of guiding Northern Ireland to the 2018 World Cup finals, and it is hard to see him leave his role and take charge of Rangers now.
Northern Ireland will face Switzerland in the World Cup playoff in November, and if they are able to go through, then O’Neill is unlikely to relinquish the chance of leading a team in the World Cup for club football.
