Glasgow Rangers ace Michael O’Halloran seems intent on staying at Ibrox.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Michael O’Halloran has intimated that he wants to stay at Rangers beyond the January transfer window.
The 27-year-old winger returned to Ibrox this month after spending the first half of the season on loan at St Johnstone.
O’Halloran scored five Premiership goals in 12 league starts for the Saints, and boss Tommy Wright confirmed to Sky Sports toward the end of December that he wanted him back.

Rangers have signed Jamie Murphy on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion since then in a move which jeopardises O’Halloran’s hopes of regular football for the Gers this season.
But the Mark Warburton signing, who cost £500,000 (Daily Mail) two years ago, reveals to Rangers’ official website that he is looking forward to challenging for first-team football.
“It definitely motivates you when you have got players in the same position as you and you’re pushing for the one place.

“It makes you work that little bit harder and train and work harder. I’m looking forward to that work and trying to show the manager what I can do and hopefully he sees me as part of his team.”
“I want to come and play games and play a part in the team and in a successful Rangers side, that’s my aim.”
It remains to be seen what Murty’s plans are for O’Halloran, but the player himself certainly seems keen on the idea of staying at Ibrox beyond the transfer window.
