Michael O’Halloran has opened up on his disappointing spell at Rangers.
O’Halloran told The Scottish Sun he felt like he never really got a fair chance at Ibrox.
The winger said he felt like he was made to work harder than other players, and criticised former manager Mark Warburton.
He said: “I just don’t think I got a proper run in the team. Under Mark Warburton, I felt I had to be the best player on the park to avoid getting dropped.”
Warburton was not the only one to draw O’Halloran’s ire.
He blasted Pedro Caixinha, who replaced Warburton at Rangers.
O’Halloran said: “Non-existent. I still don’t know what the problem was but from day one he just didn’t like me.
“I turned up every day, worked hard but my face just didn’t fit and that was it.”
O’Halloran was released last summer and joined Australian side Melbourne City, before returning to St Johnstone, where he had previously spent time on loan.
He signed for Rangers in 2015, and managed 38 appearances in three seasons, scoring three goals.
