The attacker is back at Glasgow Rangers following a loan spell at St. Johnstone.
Given that they are currently in third place in the Scottish Premiership, eleven points adrift of leaders Celtic, it is clear that there is much work for Rangers to do in the remainder of the season.
One player who could help their cause is Michael O’Halloran, with the forward back at Rangers following an impressive loan spell at St. Johnstone.
O’Halloran, who can play up front, on either flank or as an attacking midfielder, scored five goals in 16 league games for St Johnstone as he provided a reminder of the quality that he possesses.
It is currently unclear what the next step will be for O’Halloran, but Rangers could well benefit from giving the 27-year-old opportunities in the remainder of the campaign.
If given a consistent run of games in the side then O’Halloran is capable of thriving for Rangers and could provide the side with an extra dimension.
While some of his previous performances for Rangers weren’t especially impressive, O’Halloran could thrive under the guidance of manager Graeme Murty and will undoubtedly be full of confidence as a consequence of his exploits out on loan.
Retaining the services of O’Halloran and putting faith in him could prove to be an inspired move by Rangers.
