Rangers are being linked with a whole host of exciting stars since Steven Gerrard’s arrival at Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard’s imminent entrance at Rangers has already seen the club manage to attract three big-name signings, landing Scott Arfield, Allan McGregor and Jamie Murphy permanently – with more being linked.

High-profile names such as Martin Skrtel, Lucas Leiva and Jermain Defoe have all been linked with a move, while impressive stars such as Dom Solanke and Harry Wilson are also reportedly being considered.

The Scottish Sun claim 21-year-old Wilson is interesting Rangers after starring on loan at Hull City during the second half of the 2017-18 campaign, where he scored seven goals in 14 games from the left flank.

Joe Dodoo of Rangers reacts during the William Hill Scottish Cup semi-final match between Celtic and Rangers at Hampden Park on April 23, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

It is believed that Liverpool are requesting a £250,000 loan fee for Wilson, but that would prove a bargain if the Gers were able to raid Gerrard’s old side for the impressive Wales international.

With Murphy already signed, landing Wilson on loan until the end of the season would give Gerrard plenty of options out wide along with Daniel Candeias and Josh Windass.

But if the Gers do sign Wilson, after the permanent deal for Murphy, surely Michael O’Halloran and Joe Dodoo should be told to start packing their bags?

Harry Wilson of Hull City runs with the ball during the Sky Bet Championship match between Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday at KCOM Stadium on April 14, 2018 in Hull, England.

O’Halloran is in a spot of bother after being caught watching Celtic hold aloft the Scottish Cup alongside Hoops fans, while Dodoo failed to catch the eye during a loan spell with Charlton last season.

Both players returned to Graeme Murty’s side in January, but managed a combined total of three appearances during the second half of the season.

So surely if the Gers sign Wilson along with the move for Murphy, it will be a no-brainer for Gerrard to sell Dodoo and O’Halloran this summer.
