Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers were unable to beat St. Johnstone yesterday evening.

Glasgow Rangers forward Michael O’Halloran has told the Ibrox side’s official website that he found it odd starting against St. Johnstone last night.
O’Halloran was selected to play from the off for Mark Warburton’s Rangers side for the first time in the league this season.
The forward moved to Rangers last January from St. Johnstone, and he admits it was strange to play against his former employers.

“It has been a long time since I played a league game, and I was just happy to get out there, although it was a bit odd facing my old team,” he said. “I enjoyed playing and being on the pitch, although I didn’t enjoy the result.”
Rangers were only able to pick up a 1-1 draw against St. Johnstone yesterday, after putting in another laboured performance.

Rangers fell behind in the contest, and they could not turn things around to come back and claim the three points.
Although a Joe Garner goal did ensure that the Glasgow side avoided a defeat, their failure to collect the victory has caused frustration.
Rangers are now in fifth place in the Scottish Premiership table, and they have lost even further ground on league leaders and rivals Celtic – who they are now nine points behind.
