Rangers-linked Michael McGovern claims he hasn’t been speaking to any clubs.

Northern Ireland goalkeeper Michael McGovern has told Irish News that he hasn’t spoken to any clubs about a possible summer move.
McGovern, 31, has been starring for Hamilton Academical since a 2014 move from Falkirk, and his performances meant that he beat out Roy Carroll to become Northern Ireland’s first-choice goalkeeper at this summer’s European Championships.
The former Celtic man has conceded just twice in two games at Euro 2016, as Northern Ireland lost 1-0 to Poland before a 2-0 win over Ukraine on Thursday evening.
McGovern is one of the few players at the tournament without a club, as his Hamilton contract has now expired, making him free to join any other club this summer.
Reports from The Sunday Post just last week suggested that Rangers are keen to bring McGovern to Ibrox, as manager Mark Warburton looks to bring in a veteran goalkeeper behind first-choice stopper Wes Foderingham.
With Northern Ireland in contention for a spot in the last 16 of the European Championships, McGovern may choose to wait until his campaign is over before making a decision on his future – and he has been discussing the situation.
Speaking to Irish News, McGovern stated that he hasn’t had any contact with other clubs, and wants to give his total focus to Northern Ireland – but knows good performances in France will trigger interest in his services this summer.
“I have not really done anything about it, I haven’t made any contact with anyone. My main focus is on Northern Ireland,” said McGovern. “You are at different clubs throughout your career and have ups and downs but this might never come again. I want to give it my total focus. I have an agent to look at that side of things. Playing well at this level will help as well,” he added
