Everton defender Michael Keane has been impressed with the way Marco Silva has dealt with new signings.
Everton brought in six new players in the summer transfer window, but Silva has eased most the new arrivals in gently.
Richarlison was a starter from the off, but Kurt Zouma only broke into Everton’s team because of injuries, and Lucas Digne and Bernard had to play second fiddle for their first few weeks at the club.
Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina, meanwhile, are just recovering from injuries.
And Keane believes that Silva has made the right move by giving the new signings time to adapt.
The £25 million signing (Daily Mail) said: “The new lads have had some time to bed in, it’s not just five, six players getting thrown straight in there, and that’s the difference.”
Keane appears to have benefitted from Everton’s new signings, as his partnership with Kurt Zouma has been impressive so far.
Zouma and Keane helped Everton keep a clean sheet in their last match against Crystal Palace.
The Toffees are now up in eighth place in the Premier League table, and they have been beaten just twice in their first nine matches.
