Fabian Delph signed for Everton last week and is already stamping his authority on training sessions.

Michael Keane has told The Echo that he can already see the ‘quality’ that new Everton team-mate Fabian Delph has.
The Toffees pulled off a major coup last week by signing the England international in an £8.5 million deal from Manchester City [The Mirror].
Delph won two Premier League titles at Eastlands and has previously captained his country on a number of occasions.
The 29-year-old midfielder spent four years with the Sky Blues and the last three playing under one of the game’s great coaches in Pep Guardiola.
And Keane admits that he can already see evidence of Delph’s class in Marco Silva’s training sessions.
He told The Echo: “First and foremost he’s a very talented player and he’s shown that on the training pitch already.
“The quality he brings, coming from a club such as Manchester City, his training standards form being there are already visible and there to see.
“After that he brings leadership qualities. I saw that when I’ve been away with England with him and he’s already shown that in training. He’s very vocal on the pitch, looks to help people out, taking the young lads to one side and giving them bits of advice. I think he’s a brilliant addition and someone who, hopefully, we can get a lot out of.”
This is a remarkable signing by the Toffees’ Director of Football Marcel Brands and, come next summer, it’ll be remembered as an absolute steal.
In this market, £8.5 million is peanuts, even for a 29-year-old, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Delph replicates his training-ground brilliance when it matters on the field.
