Fit-again Yannick Bolasie impressed for Everton recently.
Michael Keane has told Everton’s official website that Yannick Bolasie is only going to get better and better.
The 28-year-old reminded Everton fans of his talent with a solid displayin the defeat by Manchester United on New Year’s Day for what was his first start in over 12 months.
The Congolese winger endured an injury-hit year which only subsided last month Bolasie’s performance against the Red Devils should be a sign of things to come, according to Keane.
Bolasie’s speed and trickery was a noticeable theme during an excellent first-half display in which he delivered a series of teasing crosses, and the Everton centre-back noticed that the former Crystal Palace star offers “something different” in an attacking sense.
“He is something different,” he told Everton’s website. “You saw in the first half [against United] the way he can take people on and cross the ball from both sides with his left and right foot.
“He is going to be a big player for us. Once he gets fitter and fitter, he will only get better as well. It is a big bonus to have him back.
“I think so [he will be a key player]. When we play against teams like Manchester United, we know they are going to have quite a lot of the ball and we might have to sit in at times – but if we have got players like Yannick, we can catch them on the counter. “
