Michael Johnston comments on his future at Celtic.

Johnston has been on the books of Celtic since 2008 and has yet to establish himself in the Glasgow giants’ first team.
The 19-year-old has made only a handful of first-team appearances for the Hoops, and the Scotland Under-21 international has suggested that he could go out on loan this summer.
Johnston told The Scottish Sun: “Hopefully, I can break through this year, but if not there are other options.
“If this isn’t my year I’ll need to go somewhere else to play. I’ll see what the gaffer thinks.”

Loan exit likely
Celtic have a settled starting lineup, and the bench strength of the Scottish Premiership club is also admirable.
Although Johnston is very talented and promising, he is only 19 years of age and is still developing as a footballer.
The Scotland Under-21 international is unlikely to play regularly for the Hoops next season, and it would make sense for him to move to another club in Scotland on a loan deal.
Perhaps a switch to a club in the Scottish Championship or a team in the Scottish Premiership would not be a bad idea for Johnston.
