Agent shoots down Nottingham Forest speculation.

Michael Jarman has responded to claims he could become the new chief executive of Nottingham Forest.

The Nottingham Post reported Jarman could be in the frame for a senior role at the club, with club owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi seeking to fulfil his promise to appoint new senior staff at the club.

Jarman, who describes himself on Twitter as a ‘sports agent’, says that the report is wide of the mark.

Forest had been expecting to make appointments this week, but the Nottingham Post report this timeframe is likely to be pushed back.

The Championship side are also expected to name a new manager before the month is out, but at present caretaker boss Gary Brazil is making a strong case as the most likely candidate, even if on just a short term role until the end of the season.

He has led Forest to three wins since Philippe Montanier was sacked, with the most recent a victory against Aston Villa at the weekend.
