Dallas Cowboys legend Michael Irvin takes a shot at the mentality of current NFL players.

Winning the Super Bowl is the ultimate dream for any NFL player in the league. But what’s more difficult than that? Well, becoming a Super Bowl champion multiple times.

Michael Irvin certainly falls in the latter category as he won three Super Bowls during his 12-year stint with the Dallas Cowboys.

Michael Irvin takes aim at current NFL stars with a ‘live in hell’ admission

Irvin recently made an appearance on The Champion Mindset podcast with former UFC star Daniel Cormier.

During the podcast, Irvin discussed what a champion mindset means to him while discussing his NFL career.

“I love champion mindset because nowadays it seems like it’s different. Like, it’s not about winning championships,” Irvin said.

He added, “All I knew about winning championships. I won three Super Bowls, and crying about I should have won five. I live in hell thinking about I should have won two more.”

Winning three Super Bowls is no small deal, but despite that, Irvin remains unsatisfied with his career as he believes he could have added two more rings to his resume.

It shows Irvin’s hunger, and to some extent, desperation, to keep winning at the biggest stage of football.
