Michael Hector is returning his parent club Chelsea after a loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday.

Michael Hector has taken to Twitter to send a message to Sheffield Wednesday fans, as he returns to his parent club Chelsea.
Hector joined Championship club Wednesday on a season-long loan deal from Premier League side Chelsea in the summer of 2018.
The 26-year-old central defender played well for the Owls over the course of the campaign and established himself as an important player at the back.
According to WhoScored, Hector has made 36 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship this season, scoring two goals in the process.

Hector has thanked the Wednesday fans on Twitter for their support and love for him.
Sheffield Wednesday return?
Hector has been on the books of Chelsea since 2015, and now that he is 26 years of age, it is hard to see the former Reading player establish himself in the first team at the Blues.
The defender has been a success in the Championship, and it will make sense for Wednesday to have the 26-year-old back in the team for the 2019-20 campaign.
