Tottenham Hotspur reportedly wanted to sign Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish in the summer transfer window.

Former Sunderland and Wolverhampton Wanderers star Gray believes that Grealish – who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger – is a good player, but the ex-England international has suggested that the 23-year-old needs to add goals to his game.
Grealish recently admitted to The Telegraph that he was disappointed not to get his move to Tottenham in the summer transfer window.
According to The Telegraph, Spurs wanted to sign the 23-year-old in a £25 million move from Championship side Villa.
Gray said about Grealish on The Jim White Show on talkSPORT on Tuesday morning (10:39am, October 2, 2018) while discussing Tottenham’s reported interest in him:“I don’t think he is quite good enough yet.
“I think he has got to bide his time little bit in the Championship and learn his game because he hasn’t got an end product.
“He doesn’t score enough goals. He is a very good player, very, very good player, but I think he needs to add more to his game.”

Improvement
Grealish is a very creative player, but the Villa attacker needs to add constancy to his game and also should be more dominant in matches.
It would also be great if the 23-year-old scores more goals, although perhaps that is not why he is in the team for.
During the 2017-18 season, Grealish scored three goals and provided six assists in 22 Championship starts for Villa, according to WhoScored.
So far this campaign, the Villa youngster has provided one assist in 10 league matches, according to WhoScored.
