Some Liverpool fans have been reacting to the news that Fulham are asking for £10m at a tribunal as a compensation fee for Harvey Elliott.

Liverpool have owed Fulham a fee for Elliott for over 18 months now, and it seems as though this saga is finally set to come to an end this week.

The Reds have offered to pay less than £1m for the youngster, while Fulham want an eight-figure fee for the teenager.

Fans on social media have had something of an interesting reaction to this news, with many claiming that he’s worth the £10m, and that the Reds should just be paying it.

One fan claimed that this was a Michael Edwards masterstroke, while another claimed that he’s worth more than £10m already.

Whether or not Elliott proves to be woth that amount remains to be seen, but the fact that Liverpool have sold the likes of Rhian Brewster, Jordon Ibe and Dominic Solanke for more than £10m in recent years suggests that he could well be worth every penny.

It remains to be seen what fee Liverpool end up paying, but a number of fans wouldn’t be too disheartened if it is the £10m that Fulham are demanding.

Here’s what the Anfield faithful have been saying on social media…
