Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after CIES Football Observatory‘s latest figures showed the club’s net spend since 2016.

It stands at £113.2 million, and puts them behind the likes of Fulham, Sheffield United and Brighton, which is quite amazing.

Only the FA Cup and Carabao Cup have escaped Jurgen Klopp’s grasp domestically.

However, on the contrary, you could argue that these figures suggest Fenway Sports Group (FSG) aren’t investing enough into the playing staff.
