Tottenham Hotspur are currently sat five points behind top of the table Liverpool.
Michael Dawson has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 7th November, that Tottenham Hotspur are definitely title contenders this season.
Tottenham are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table, but they have managed to go unbeaten through their first 11 matches.
The Lilywhites picked up a draw against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium yesterday, and Dawson was impressed by what he saw from his former side.

“They are, definitely [title contenders],” the Hull City defender said. “There’s a few teams in with a chance. There’s six teams that are striving to win the league.
“It’s a big ask for Spurs, but I love watching them and it was a great second half performance from them yesterday. They are challenging for the title, without a shadow of a doubt.”
Tottenham have drawn six of their first 11 Premier League matches this season, and that has stopped them being even closer to league leaders Liverpool.

At the moment Mauricio Pochettino’s side are five points behind the Reds, but they have been boosted by the returns of key players.
Harry Kane came back into Tottenham’s line up against Arsenal, while Erik Lamela and Toby Alderweireld are both set to return to health after the international break.
Tottenham are next in competitive action in two weeks’ time, when they take on West Ham United in a London derby at White Hart Lane.
