Leeds United are heading into the playoffs in a bad run of form.

Sky Sports pundit Michael Brown has claimed that the Leeds United fans have been ‘desperate’ and are ‘hurting’ after they missed out on an automatic spot in the Championship.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side are heading into the playoffs in a bad run of form and on the back of messing up their hopes of finishing in the top two, with Sheffield United and Norwich taking those places.
On the last day of the regular season, things went from bad to worse for the club when they suffered a 3-2 defeat at already-relegated Ipswich Town, who were down to 10 men.
Speaking to Sky Sports News (08/05/2019 at 10:45 am), Brown offered his thoughts on Leeds heading into the playoffs as he urged them to change their current mindset.
“Would they have taken a playoff spot at the start of the season?” Brown questioned on Sky Sports News. “Of course they would have. You have got to say, this has happened now, let’s go from here and be positive as we can.
“But the crowd are so desperate for them to do well. You can see they are hurting. It becomes that little bit of frustration they have really fallen away.
“Their performances, the type of desire, losing games and not coming back with any sort of fight which will really disappoint Marcelo Bielsa.”

If Leeds can get the positive vibes back then it would do them the world of good because it would make them a serious threat in these up and coming games.
Frank Lampard’s Derby County, who are on a high after securing the final playoff spot on the last day of the season, are the team looking to end Bielsa’s hopes of helping Leeds return to the Premier League.
The winner of that encounter will still have their work cut out because they will come up against either Aston Villa or West Brom in the final at Wembley. Both teams possess some of the best attacking talents in the division.
