Leeds secured an excellent 4-1 victory on Saturday evening against Derby.

Former Leeds United striker Michael Bridges has teased Derby County manager Frank Lampard on Twitter by claiming that the ex-Chelsea man had been “schooled” by the tactical genius of Marcelo Bielsa.
Leeds picked up their second win in two Championship matches to remain in second place in the table, with an excellent 4-1 win over Derby despite being away from home against Lampard’s new-look side.
The two managers are very much at different stages of their careers, with 63-year-old Bielsa now with his 12th club after first managing Argentine side Newell’s Old Boys in 1990.
Whereas, Saturday’s clash was only Lampard’s second competitive match and Bridges believes the newly-appointed Leeds manager taught Lampard a lesson as the Whites were far superior all over the pitch.
Goals from Mateusz Klich – his second in two games – Gjanni Alioski and a brace from Kemar Roofe gave Leeds the win, after Tom Lawrence’s free-kick had cancelled out Klich’s opener in the first half.
But Leeds’ high press, exciting attack and non-stop work rate saw the Whites earn an excellent 4-1 win that comes as a another signal of intent to the rest of the league – after their 3-1 victory over Stoke City last weekend.
The Whites are next in action on Tuesday night, as they play host to Bolton Wanderers in the first round of the Carabao Cup before challenging Rotherham for their third three points of the season on Saturday – also at Elland Road.
