The former Leeds striker took to social media after a 2-2 draw against Bristol City.

Former Leeds United striker Michael Bridges has remained positive on Twitter despite a late comeback from Bristol City on Wednesday night.

Many Leeds fans – and commentators – exclaimed that this felt like a defeat, after United had taken a 2-0 lead at Bristol City.

But the Whites were pegged back very late on, leaving Uwe Rosler’s men absolutely shellshocked.

Out of three Championship games, Leeds have now drawn all three. They led during their first against Burnley but dropped two points thanks to another late goal. They then drew 0-0 at Reading, while it was felt they could well have beaten a poor Royals side.

And the trend continued at Bristol City – yet Bridges remains positive. Indeed, the ex-striker made the prediction that Rosler will get his first Leeds win very soon indeed.

There were plenty of positives for Leeds, especially early on. Mirco Antenucci and Sol Bamba played well, with Kalvin Phillips also continuing to perform in midfield for United.

Chris Wood, meanwhile, netted his first goal for the Elland Road outfit. But a late collapse rendered any good will a little futile.
