Leeds United have appointed Marcelo Bielsa as their new manager.

Michael Bridges has taken to social networking site Twitter to urge new Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa to take the club back to the Premier League.
Leeds have appointed Bielsa as their new head coach on a two-year contract with the Whites holding an option for a further year, as announced on the club’s official website.
The Argentine is one of the most famous and most well-known football coaches in the world.

Former Leeds player Bridges has urged the 62-year-old to guide Leeds back to the Premier League.
The West Yorkshire outfit, who are one of the biggest clubs in England and have a strong following, have not featured in the Premier League since 2004.
Former Leeds midfielder Andy Couzens has also taken to Twitter to give his verdict on Bielsa.

Bielsa is a blockbuster managerial appointment for Leeds, and the Elland Road faithful should be optimistic.
However, it is imperative that the Argentine coach is given the funds in the summer transfer window in order to make some good signings.
