Rangers have completed their third signing of the January transfer window.

Andy Firth has completed a move to Rangers after the club confirmed the news on their official website on Friday afternoon – and Michael Beale has welcomed the goalkeeper to Ibrox on Twitter.
Firth, 22, becomes Rangers’ third signing of the January transfer window after moves for Steven Davis and Jermain Defoe were struck earlier this month. Jordan Jones and Glen Kamara will join in the summer.
The goalkeeper worked with both Beale and Gerrard during the duo’s time at Liverpool in the coaching staff, before Firth joined English National League side Barrow.
Knowing him well from his time at Liverpool, Gerrard’s first-team coach Beale welcomed Firth to Rangers on Twitter and congratulated the goalkeeper on his move to Ibrox, after he signed an 18-month contract.
Beale has been in okay-ish form for Barrow this season, keeping five clean sheets in 18 league games and conceding 25 goals. He managed two appearances for Liverpool’s Under-23 side, conceding four goals in Premier League 2.
Firth has been signed just hours after Rangers confirmed Robby McCrorie had joined Scottish Championship side Barrow on loan until the end of the season. It left Gerrard with just Allan McGregor and Wes Foderingham.
It is expected Firth will act as third-choice goalkeeper for the duo, while McCrorie and Jak Alwnick remain out on loan – the latter currently impressing at League One Scunthorpe United.
