Glasgow Rangers’ Joe Aribo will return to Ibrox a very happy man.

As far as career achievements go, Rangers’ Joe Aribo might struggle to top what happened this afternoon.
Playing for Nigeria, the Gers’ attacker opened the scoring against five-time world champions Brazil in Singapore.
It might’ve only been a friendly, but it’s a goal that’ll live long in the memory of the Rangers star, given the pedigree of team that he came up against.
And a coach at Auchenhowie, Michael Beale, has paid tribute to the former Charlton Athletic man on Twitter following his heroics.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard will be delighted for his player, but one manager who might not be is Lee Bowyer.
The former English midfielder helped to develop the 23-year-old at The Valley and admitted during the summer that it was a ‘shame’ that Aribo joined the light Blues [talkSPORT], arguing that staying in England was better for his ongoing development than moving to Scotland.
But it’s obvious that Gerrard has taken the London-born midfielder – who earns £20,000 per week in Glasgow [Daily Mail] – to the next level, and if a goal against Brazil doesn’t illustrate that, Bowyer must look at himself.
