Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have a gem in George Edmundson.

Michael Beale has said that Rangers fans have a lot to look forward to in George Edmundson.
The 22-year-old defender is one of many new faces to join the Gers this past summer, but the Ibrox faithful haven’t seen a great deal of him so far.
As things stand, the Rangers centre-back hasn’t kicked a ball in a Premiership game, making Steven Gerrard’s squad only once, though he did start two games in Europa League qualifying.
The Englishman appears to be Gerrard’s fourth-choice option at centre-back, behind Filip Helander, Nikola Katic and Connor Goldson.
But Beale, a first-team coach at Rangers, assures the supporters that the club have a very tidy player on their hands.
He told the club’s TV channel online: “George Edmundson is a young player that Rangers fans are going to be so pleased we have in the future. Once he gets his chance, wow. We’ve got four top centre-halves.”
It’s quite an exciting endorsement from Beale. Yes, he would probably praise him regardless, considering that he’s a coach, but the words he used – ‘wow’ – indicates that he genuinely believes in his talent and that’s certainly exciting for Rangers.
Gerrard fought off a lot of competition to bring him to Glasgow and despite barely featuring, the future looks very bright for him.
