Aston Villa coach Michael Beale has praised Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara on Twitter after watching him in action for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Gers at Ibrox today.
Kamara, linked with a move to Steven Gerrard’s Villa in the January transfer window, was in action for Rangers against Heart of Midlothian at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.
The Gers won 5-0.
Former Arsenal prospect Kamara scored in the 72nd minute.
Beale worked as a coach under Gerrard at Rangers before both decided to leave for Premier League club Villa earlier this season.
The former Liverpool coach was impressed by Kamara’s performance today and has praised the 26-year-old Finland international midfielder on Twitter.

Glen Kamara from Rangers to Aston Villa rumour
Rangers midfielder Kamara was linked with a move to Villa in the January transfer window.
The Scottish Sun reported on January 7 that the Villans were considering a bid for the former Dundee star.
Interestingly, Arsenal, Kamara’s former club, also wanted to sign him.
90min reported on January 13 that Arsenal were keeping tabs on the midfielder.
Kamara, though, is still at Rangers, who are aiming to win the Scottish Premiership title for the second season in a row.
