Michael Ball has made a point about Everton on social networking site Twitter by using Wolverhampton Wanderers’ performance against Manchester City at the weekend.

Wolves played out a 1-1 draw with City at the Molineux Stadium in the Premier League this past Saturday afternoon.

Pep Guardiola’s side headed into the match against the Wanderers as strong favourites, but the Wanderers managed to hold the defending English champions to a draw.

Nuno’s side played out a 2-2 draw with Everton at home in their opening game of the Premier League season earlier this month.

The Toffees actually played most of that match with 10 men due to the sending-off of Phil Jagielka in the 40th minute.

Former City and Everton left-back Ball has made a point about Everton following Wolves’ draw with City at Molineux Stadium in the Premier League this past Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Everton played out a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth away from home in the league this past weekend.
