Everton have been very busy in the summer transfer window so far.

Michael Ball has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Everton need to make a marquee signing this summer.

Everton have been quite busy so far in the summer transfer window and has already made a number of signings.

Attacking midfielder Davy Klaassen, goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, forward Sandro Ramirez and central defender Michael Keane all have made the switch to Goodison Park.

Former Everton defender Ball has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the Toffees’ summer business so far.

The 37-year-old former Rangers left-back has suggested that the Toffees need to make a marquee signing in the summer transfer window.

Goodison Park

The signings that Everton have made so far this summer look very promising, and it does look as though the Merseyside outfit will be challenging for a place in the top six in the Premier League next season.

Could Wayne Rooney be the Toffees’ marquee signing this summer? The 31-year-old forward started his professional club football career at Everton and has been linked with a move back to Goodison Park this summer.

According to talkSPORT, the Toffees are confident of signing the England international from United in the summer transfer window.
