Cenk Tosun scored twice for Everton in the Premier League at the weekend.

Michael Ball has given his take on Everton forward Cenk Tosun in The Liverpool Echo.
The former Everton left-back has admitted that he does not find Tosun spectacular, but the 38-year-old has praised the Turkey international’s ability inside the opposition penalty box.
Ball made the comments following the 26-year-old forward’s heroics for Everton in the Premier League at the weekend.
The Turkish star scored both goals in the Toffees’ 2-1 victory over Stoke City away from home at the bet365Stadium this past Saturday afternoon.
Ball has also criticised Everton manager Sam Allardyce for his previous comments about Tosun’s fitness, as quoted by Sky Sports.
Meanwhile, former Tottenham Hotspur forward Garth Crooks has included Tosun in his BBC Team of the Week.

Ball wrote in The Liverpool Echo: “There’s little spectacular about Cenk Tosun. Outside the area, he shows a few nice little touches but it’s all about what he does in the box.
“Tosun needs service, and you could maybe call him an old-fashioned striker because of it, but Everton have not had that type of forward for a while.”
“We don’t want him to be coming off the pitch like he did in the first few games thinking: ‘What kind of service was that?’,” added Ball.
“I felt it was slightly unfair that Allardyce had said he wasn’t fit enough or ready because in those games he’d not had any sort of service but now he has, he’s got four goals in three games.”
Crooks wrote on BBC Sport: “His two goals against Stoke, in appalling conditions, smacked of a natural striker’s instincts.”

Adapting to the Premier League
Tosun did initially struggle with the pace of the Premier League when he joined Besiktas in the January transfer window for a fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £27 million.
The 26-year-old Turkey international forward has scored four goals in five starts in the Premier League for Everton, and is good form at the moment.
