The Everton boss is under fire for suggesting Lukaku should leave the club.
Writing on Twitter, former Everton defender Michael Ball has claimed he is hoping Ronald Koeman is looking to spark a bidding war for Romelu Lukaku.
The Blues boss is coming under fire at this moment in time after recently claiming the striker should look to leave Goodison Park for a big club like Barcelona.
“Everton should normally not be the end for him,” he told Belgian newspaper HLN.be.
“Romelu will not have made the most of his career if he plays for Everton for the remainder of his career.”

The comments have angered some sections of the Everton faithful, who do not believe their manager should be telling his star man to leave.
At the same time, other fans can see a logic behind the comments, believing the Dutchman is trying to motivate the striker to perform better.
It is an interesting debate and now Ball has shared his thoughts on what the Dutchman may be looking to achieve by making them.
It will certainly be interesting to discover if Lukaku’s long-term future does reside at Goodison Park.
Another goal-laden season like the last one, in which he scored 25 goals in all competitions, and the big clubs are likely to be very keen on securing his services.
However, a strong campaign from the Blues, coupled with serious spending in the transfer windows, and he may be tempted to stay on Merseyside.
It will be fascinating to find out which happens and now his future could very much be determined by how ambitious the Everton board are willing to be.
