Former Arsenal attacker Theo Walcott featured for Everton in the Merseyside derby against Liverpool on Saturday.

Everton star Theo Walcott has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s draw with Liverpool in the Merseyside derby.

Walcott, who joined Everton from Arsenal in the January transfer window, featured in the Merseyside derby against Liverpool at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.

The England international, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a goalless draw.

The 29-year-old, who cost the Toffees £20 million in transfer fees when they signed him from Arsenal in the January transfer window according to The Sun, has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.

Former Everton left-back Michael Ball has responded to the message from Walcott, who earns £120,000 per week as salary according to The Sun and has scored two goals and provided two assists in 10 league appearances since his January switch, and so have fans of Arsenal and the Toffees.
