Roy Keane made himself a villain for quite a lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans last week.

Well, the no-nonsense pundit has often criticised Spurs in the past, but things got particularly heated in a Sky studio last Sunday when he argued with Jamie Redknapp that Jose Mourinho’s side are nowhere near as strong as people think they are.

Keane, who went on to say that Tottenham had ‘no chance’ of finishing inside the top four this season, passionately fought his corner against Redknapp in an exchange which had a lot of neutral fans talking – and laughing – on social media.

The Old Trafford legend will be back on Sky Sports tomorrow for punditry work on the Manchester derby between United and City at Eastlands, working alongside Micah Richards.

And the former City defender has joked that he’s hoping Keane is in better form than last week, in reference to his Tottenham argument.

As for the Lilywhites having ‘no chance’ of finishing in the top four, well the Irishman might review that.

Mourinho’s troops are only five points behind fourth-placed Chelsea with a game in hand, meaning they’re certainly very much in the mix.
