Micah Richards has raved about Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka on Sky Sports Premier League (1:14pm, April 18, 2021).

The former Manchester City and Aston Villa star, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, believes that Saka is an outstanding footballer.

Richards has added that for someone who is only 19 years of age, Saka, who is an Arsenal academy graduate, does well in whatever positions he plays.

The Englishman said about Saka on Sky Sports Premier League (1:14pm, April 18, 2021): “Look at Saka. Just 19 years age. He is absolutely brilliant. He is the number one name on the teamsheet, he has to be.

“He can play in a variety of positions. You see him on the right, you see him on the left, at full-back, he plays every position so well at such a young age. When he is not in the team, Arsenal don’t look the same. I am just happy to see his improvement.”

Big player for Arsenal

Saka is only 19 years of age, but he is already a key figure in the current Arsenal team and has also played four times for the England national football team.

The teenager is playing mainly as a winger this season, but he can also operate as a left-back.

What is remarkable about Saka is that he is able to and willing to play in any position, and he always does his best.

Arsenal have a real gem in Saka, who could become a real leader in Mikel Arteta’s team in the coming years.

According to WhoScored, Saka has scored five goals and provided two assists in 27 Premier League matches and has scored two goals and provided three assists in seven Europa League games for Arsenal so far this season.
