Speaking on his YouTube channel, Express journalist Ryan Taylor has been discussing Benjamin Sesko amid rumours Tottenham are looking at the young striker.
It was reported earlier this week that Spurs have an eye on Sesko, but unfortunately, they’re not the only club keen on a move for the RB Salzburg forward.
Indeed, according to Taylor, AC Milan are more than keen on the attacker, and, in fact, it is now being reported that the teenager’s agent has met with Paolo Maldini about a potential move to San Siro.
What’s been said?
Taylor spoke about Sesko and his agent’s meeting with Maldini.
“As I touched upon, Tottenham as I understand it are amongst the clubs who are continuing to monitor his progress. It’s not imminent at the moment, I don’t expect Tottenham to make a move as such, but he’s one of the young strikers they’re watching,” Taylor said.
“Fabio Paratici is understood to be a big fan of him, and Tottenham’s scouts will continue to watch him.”
“His representative, Elvis Basanovic, has actually just met with Paolo Maldini to discuss a potential transfer, Milan are, like Tottenham, are very much keen on signing Sesko and they’re planting that seed.”

Easier sell
If Sesko is to move to a big club in the near future then a move to Milan may be more appealing to him at this moment in time.
Let’s be honest, the 19-year-old won’t be a starter for Spurs anytime soon. After all, Richarlison and Harry Kane are two bona fide star strikers and he’d probably be third-choice if he moved to north London.
Meanwhile, Milan’s first-choice forwards are an ageing Olivier Giroud and a 40-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
It may not be long before a striker spot opens up at San Siro, and if Sesko heads to the Serie A champions, he may have a clear pathway into the first-team, but sadly, the same can’t be said at Tottenham.
