Following their recent losses to Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea – with a less-than-convincing victory over Crystal Palace in between – some neutrals are readying their hypothetical swords in a bid to slay Arsenal’s trophy hopes with the season just a few months old.
But with the Gunners preparing for a vital match against Liverpool later today, Mesut Ozil has tweeted a picture that suggests he and his teammates are ready for a battle.
Win today and Arsene Wenger’s men will go five points clear of the Reds. But lose and Liverpool will go one point above them. So in short, today’s late kick-off is vital and three points for the home side will put at least a few of those doubters in their place.
