Arsenal star Mesut Özil has described former boss Arsène Wenger in just three words.
The 92-cap Germany international was taking part in his own Twitter Q&A on Wednesday, where he was asked all sorts of questions by Gunners supporters.
The first he replied to read: “Describe Arsène Wenger in three words. #AskMesut”
Incidentally, it was the Frenchman who signed Özil for Arsenal. Wenger parted with £42.4 million to bring the 31-year-old to north London in 2013.
Since then, the playmaker has recorded 44 goals as well as 77 assists at the Emirates.

When describing his former manager, Özil called Wenger a “gentleman”, ”legendary” and “invincible”, while attaching a trophy emoji to the last adjective.
There’s certainly mutual respect between the pair. The German has previously said he would have played under Wenger “for nothing”, while the 70-year-old has praised Özil on a number of occasions.
More recently, the Frenchman praised the midfielder’s attitude in 2019 – the pair appear to have gotten on well during their time together.

Arsenal’s number 10 also pointed a jibe at north London rivals Tottenham and named which member of the ‘Invincibles’ he would have liked to have played with.
It certainly was an interesting Q&A, to say the least.
