Arsenal attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil has praised Emile Smith Rowe on Twitter.
Ozil has said that attacking midfielder Smith Rowe has done well for Arsenal in the past two games and has proved a point to manager Mikel Arteta.
The German star has said that the 20-year-old is proving that playing with a number 10 is still productive.
Ozil is a number 10, but the former Real Madrid star has not played for Arsenal since March 2020.
The 32-year-old was left out of the Gunners’ Premier League and Europa League squad this season, and with his contract running out at the North London club at the end of the season, there is a very good likelihood that he will never play for them again.
