Arsenal star says he is ‘feeling pumped’ to face Manchester City.
Arsenal record signing Mesut Ozil has expressed his excitement for Monday night’s upcoming Premier League clash with Manchester City.
Both teams are striving to close the gap at the top of the table on surprise leaders Leicester City, who won away to Everton at the weekend.
The German international sent a message via his Facebook page to his 29 million followers, also explaining that there is plenty of nervous energy among the squad ahead of such a crucial game at The Emirates.
Ozil goes into the game in outstanding form, having already provided 13 assists in 15 Premier League games this season.
He also has two league goals, one of which came a fortnight ago against Norwich City.
Arsenal, and Ozil, are boosted by the return to training of Alexis Sanchez ahead of the game, counter-balancing City who will have Sergio Aguero fit to feature.
City will be without defender and captain Vincent Kompany who is injured, which will help Ozil unlock a Manchester side which conceded four when they travelled to Tottenham earlier this season.
