Mesut Ozil posted on Instagram ‘bravo’, whilst Chuba Akpom called Reiss Nelson a ‘talent’ following Arsenal’s dramatic 3-2 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday at the Emirates.

In the dying moments of the game, Nelson fired a ball into the top of the corner to send the Emirates stadium wild and those associated with Bournemouth into shock mode.

Sometimes, it’s just meant to be when you want to win the Premier League title and it might just be the case here for the Gunners.

Even though Bournemouth are sitting in the Premier League’s bottom three, not only did they score inside a near record-breaking nine seconds, but they also went 2-0 up in the second half.

But, starting with Thomas Partey and then substitute Ben White, the comeback began before, at the very last second, Nelson produced his greatest moment in an Arsenal shirt.

It left many shocked, with Middlesbrough striker, Chuba Akpom, who is the Championship’s top-scorer, calling Nelson a ‘talent’, whilst Ozil applauded his efforts, as he wrote in the comments section of the winger’s IG post.

ANOTHER CHAMPIONS-LIKE PERFORMANCE

Fulham. Tottenham. Chelsea. Manchester United. Aston Villa. And Bournemouth.

They are just some of the games that Arsenal have showcased why they want to be champions and might just well be that in May.

Yes, there are those typical 1-0 to the Arsenal wins, which came at Leicester City last week, but this sends out a message and a statement.

Manchester City, who had beaten Newcastle United hours earlier, will once again feel deflated, as a result, with the gap between the two still five points.
