Mesut Ozil has named Matteo Guendouzi as Arsenal’s best young player.
The 2014 World Cup winner was responding to supporters in a question and answer session on Twitter.
Ozil hailed summer signing Guendouzi as the most talented young player at the club.
Guendouzi signed in the summer from French side Lorient.
He impressed in pre-season and made an immediate impact with the first team and is a regular in new manager Unai Emery’s matchday squads.
For this reason it is easy to forget Guendouzi is only 19-years-old, and it appears Arsenal have a gem on their hands.
The fact he has won over Mesut Ozil so quickly speaks volumes.
Along with young talents Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah, the future is bright for Arsenal.
