West Ham United winger Michail Antonio could earn his first England cap against Slovakia.

Former Arsenal attacker Paul Merson has praised West Ham United winger Michail Antonio in The Daily Star.
Antonio has played well for West Ham so far this season and has been called up to the England squad.
The 26-year-old former Nottingham Forest star is part of the Three Lions’ squad for their upcoming 2018 World Cup Group F qualifier (European) against Slovakia.
Merson hopes that Antonio is a success for England, and he has also admitted his disappointment at Mark Noble not getting a call-up.

The former Middlesbrough and Aston Villa winger has suggested that new England head coach Sam Allardyce, who worked with Noble at West Ham, should have included the 29-year-old midfielder in the squad.
“Michail Antonio has done well to get in the England squad and I hope he’s a big success,” Merson wrote in The Daily Star.
“It’s good to see players being picked on form when they’re playing well. Alright he made a ricket against Chelsea but he was being played out of position.
“He’s impressed me. I’m sorry for Mark Noble though. I thought he deserved a chance and I thought Sam Allardyce might pick him.”

Antonio, who has been played as a right-back on occasions this season, has scored two goals and created two chances in three Premier League appearances for West Ham so far this campaign.
Noble has created four chances in three league games for the Hammers so far this season.
West Ham will take on Watford at the London Stadium in the Premier League after the international break.
